Rev Sarah Butcher

Revd Sarah Butcher has been a minister since 2021. Originally from Luton, Sarah went to Nottingham to study Biology at university. From there, she trained and worked as a science teacher. After candidating for ministry, she trained at the Queen's Foundation in Birmingham and completed an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission in 2023. Before coming to Sutton Coldfield in 2025, she served her first appointment in ministry in Crewe as part of the Cheshire South Methodist Circuit. |

Rev Alan SmithsonRev Alan Smithson started training as a Local Preacher in the then Sheffield Ecclesall circuit while writing his PhD thesis on glass technology. He felt called to the ministry while at Cullercoasts Methodist Church. He studied at Queens College Bormingham and on gaining his BD married Catherine and moved to Stockton on Tees. He was ordianed in 1995 and since then has ministered in Darlington, Alsager and Sutton Coldfield where Alan has been Superintendent for the last five years. |

Rev John RoweRev John Rowe was born in Liverpool and is alive long Everton FC supporter. In 2012 John and Liz became grandparents and moved to the Sutton Coldfield Circuit. John came to faith in his late 30s and studied for his theology degree at Westminster College in Oxford, followed by 3 years work as a residential social worker with young people. He also has MA in applied theology from The Queens Foundation in Birmingham. |

Deacon Liz RoweLiz was a primary school teacher for several years before taking up an appointment in the Tamworth and Lichfield Circuit as a children and family worker. She undertook my pre-ordination training at The Queens foundation Birmingham and became a Methodist Deacon in Cardiff in 2007 where she shared with Jonh in a team ministry across a group of four churches. |

Rev John IngyonRev John Ingyon was previously the Superintendent Minister of The Sutton Park Circuit but came back in retirement as Minster with Pastoral Care until September 2012. |

Rev Garry Dawson-JonesRev Garry Dawson-Jones was previously he was the minister at Dore and Totley Rise Methodist Churches in the Sheffield Ecclesall Methodist Circuit. |

Rev Gill Le Boutillier-ScotOur last minister was Rev Gill Le Boutillier-Scot. She was also the minister of Blackwood Methodist Church. She is now minister of The Drive Methodist Church Sevenoaks. |

Rev Bob CooperWhile Rev Gill Le Boutillier Scott was on maternity leave Rev Bob Cooper looked after us at Streetly. He is according to Asbury Circuit, who have kndly leant him to us, our unique Methodist poet. |
